This light-filled and marble-lined sweet pink bathroom offers a colourful and contemporary twist on classic style.

It is the main guest bathroom of a Bulimba Queenslander, replacing a dark and dated early 1990s version via a complete demolition back to the wall studs.
​
The stand-out feature is the marble mosaic in both the main and the shower floors - cut-in to create a beautiful zig-zag edge.
Getting the floor detail right was technically difficult, but the Nero Marquino in the floor plays off the sleek modern-classic style vanity.
​
A bathtub that had seen better days was replaced by a huge walk-in shower with overhead rain shower, hand shower and six Italian body jets for the ultimate home spa experience.
​
The finished result offers a memorable surprise that never fails to delight guests.
